This gated community at the end of Litchfield Beach offers two, three, and four bedroom condos along beautifully landscaped, beachside, surroundings. This community is bordered by the wide sandy beach and Atlantic Ocean to the East and Pawleys Island Creek to the west. Two community pools (one olympic size) and a private boardwalk with dock on the creek are also available for your relaxation and enjoyment. There are three walkways conveniently located through the community that allow access to the beach. Each condo is fully equipped for comfortable vacation living featuring central air conditioning, cable TV, full kitchens & washer/ dryer. Linens and final day cleaning are included with your rental.

Inlet Point is located through the guard gate at the southern tip of Litchfield Beach. Consisting of 22 low-rise buildings and 87 total condos, the largest structures are only 3 stories tall. Traveling farther south, through the guard gate and past the condos are the multi-million dollar homes of Inlet Point South and The Peninsula. Beyond these luxurious homes is the narrow inlet separating Pawleys Island and Litchfield Beach. Many guests enjoy the short, leisurely walk, along the uncrowded beach to this inlet.

Generations of guests return to Inlet Point every year because of the open green landscaping and uncrowded beach. This special area is also popular for short weekend getaways or monthly stays from September through May.

Important Things to know about Inlet Point

This is a gated community of privately owned residences. Some of condos are occupied full-time by their owners, others are available to rent for all or part of the year. The clean, well groomed, landscaping through out the community demonstrates that all of the owners take pride in maintaining Inlet Point as one of the premier communities along the coast of South Carolina. It is one of only three gated oceanfront communities in Pawleys Island.

There are only four streets inside Inlet Point. The guard will remind you of the traffic flow and the 15 mph speed limit upon arrival. He will also provide you and your guests with parking passes at this time. (Be sure to stop by The Dieter Company first to check in and receive the keys to your vacation rental.) After driving through the gate you will quickly discover that building are arranged in three rows - oceanfront, second row, and creekfront. All of the units that we rent offer nice views of the community including the ocean, creek, and pools, depending on location. Oceanfront: 1 - 4 (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms); 13 (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms)
All of these condos will have a great beach and ocean view. Building 13 has an elevator.
Second Row: 5 - 8 (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms); 15 - 18 (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms); 19 - 20 (we do not rent)

Creek View: 9 - 10 (3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths); 11 -12 (4 bedrooms, 3 baths); 14 (2-3 bedrooms, 2 baths); 21 - 22 (3 bedrooms, 3 baths)
These units will have a view the salt water marsh or creek. Building 21 has an elevator.

The three beach walkways offer easy access to the beach. All of them have fresh water showers to rinse away the ocean water and sand. The two pools allow all visiting families a great alternative to the beach. Both pools are open from 7am until 10 pm. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. There is also a community playground for smaller children that is available to everyone as well. The Inlet Point Clubhouse, which is located beside the large pool and playground, is only available to owners and their guests. Grilling is allowed at a reasonable distance from all of the buildings. If your rental includes a gas or charcoal grill it will be noted in the property description, if not you may bring your own or rent one.

Inlet Point Rules

Balconies and Porches -  Towels and clothes are not allowed to hang from rails or furnishings

Beach and Sand Dunes - Do not walk on Dunes or pick Sea Oats.   The wooden sand fences should not be disturbed. They are in place to build the dunes and help protect the community from Hurricanes and storm surge. Bikes, tents, and other personal items should not be left around the walkways or overnight. Have fun building sand castles, but fill in your holes so that others do not get hurt and sea turtles are not trapped. Do not leave any trash on the beach, this includes cigarette butts. Alcohol is allowed on the beach, but glass bottles are not. Dogs anywhere in Litchfield Beach must be on a leash. The county also provides a beach patrol to ensure everyone's enjoyment of our wonderful beach. They will be looking for all of the rules that we have listed.

Boats -  are only allowed for owners and their immediate guests. They may not be parked in any of the grass areas.

Creek Dock - is available to everyone from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Children under 12 are not allowed without an adult. No bikes, scooters, skate boards or oets are permitted.  

Driving - Max 15 mph everywhere. Pay attention to the one-way street signs and go slow over speed humps.  

Fireworks - are prohibited anywhere in Inlet Point, this includes sparklers.

Golf Carts -   Are only allowed for owners and their immediate guests. They may only be driven by a licensed operator and are not to be driven or parked on grass.  

Grilling - is allowed, but not on decks, porches, or in carports.

Noise - please be respectful with the volume of radios, TVs, and conversation. Especially through the night.

Parking - only park in the spaces that are assigned to your condo and never on the grass.

Pets - are only allowed by owners in Inlet Point. They must be leashed and and under owner control.

Recreational Vehicles - including motor homes, motorcycles, mopeds, ATVs, or motorized scooters are not allowed through the gate.

Swimming Pools & Hot Tubs - Hours are 9 am - 10 pm. Only conventional swimsuits are allowed. Children under 12 are not permitted in the area without an adult present. Children in diapers must also be wearing swim suits. Radios are only allowed with headphones and glass containers are not permitted. Running and diving are also not allowed.
