Directions to The Dieter Company

The most popular routes, from both Columbia and I-95, is Hwy 501 from Florence to Myrtle Beach, then south on Hwy 17 Bypass to Litchfield/Pawleys Island. Off-season, this route should serve you very well. During the summer months, however, this route can become extremely congested on Saturdays, sometimes causing eager vacationers to wait in traffic for hours. Listed below are some alternate routes that will allow you to avoid the traffic around Conway and Myrtle Beach.

Alternate route from Columbia, SC

From Columbia, take Hwy. 76/378 east. About seven miles east of the Wateree River, bear right on SC 261 through the small towns of Wedgefield, Pinewood, Paxville and finally Manning. In Manning, take US 521 to Georgetown. The road signs in Manning are clearly marked to Georgetown. About 15 miles out of Manning, you will be in the small town of Greeleyville. US 521 will turn to the left and continue to Andrews and into Georgetown. From Georgetown, take Hwy. 17 north to Pawleys Island and Litchfield Beach.

Alternate route from I-95
From I-95, take exit 181 onto Rt. 38. Rt. 38 runs into Hwy. 501. Follow 501 through Conway, then take 544 through Socastee, then Hwy. 17 Bypass South to Litchfield/ Pawleys Island.

The Dieter Company is located at 13253 Ocean Hwy. 17 - Litchfield. We are on the west side of the highway, about 100 yards north of the traffic light at the entrance to Litchfield Beach.
