Heron Marsh Villa 9

The trip was great. So glad you had the cancellation we could use. The unit, Heron Marsh Villa 9, was very enjoyable. The only big complaint was we would have loved an extra resting spot but the roll-a-way bed's springs are popping out on the mattress. A younger child could easily be injured if they didn't notice. Thanks again for a good vacay!

We have been renting in Litchfield By The Sea for 25 years from various companies including Dieter The Company and this was the first time we gave a negative review. Upon arrival the outside was untidy and the grill was worn out and very rusty and unusable. We needed to wipe down the kitchen including the refrigerator and first floor bathroom before use. The upholstered chairs were dirty. The second floor bathroom had rust and stain marks in the bathtub. The washer was dirty on top and the sheets in two of the bedrooms had brown stains on them. The deck table was filled with bird dirt and the chairs were dirty. This unit was not ready for guests and very unappealing...

Thanks for allowing us to meet with you at the condo during your stay. The hoa has been made aware of the dryer vent needing a new cover. This will help prevent the exhaust discharging around the front steps. The furnishings, flooring, and bedding have been steam cleaned, the grill was updated with a Weber, the bathroom caulking has been replaced, and most of the rust removed. Thanks again for allowing us to help with these items. We hope that you found us to be sincere and responsive in addressing your concerns.

This unit needs to be updated! We love litchfield and have been coming for over 40 years and we are on our 3rd generation and this was the first unit to disappoint. Cleaners came back to clean but, it is past that point. An update is due and the mattress are awful too! It’s a great location if you have little ones so close to beach and pool just needs a facelift and a deep clean!

We are very sorry about your experience. Because you stayed in July, but the review was in November, we wanted to pass along what was done to address things since your stay: a professional deep clean, all carpets and furniture professionally steam cleaned, bathroom caulking replaced, most of the rust was able to be removed. Also there is a new weber grill, new hot water heater, and wood around the elevator is being replaced before 2023 rentals.

A few little items were handled by your office in record time. Your handyman was able to get the parking lot lights fixed and helped with supplying power for our golf cart which cut my mom's stress.

from tripadvisor... Great Place We have a wonderful week at the beach with my family. There were 4 adults and two small kids. The house was wonderfully set up and gave us all enough room and privacy. My only complaint was that the bed in the upstairs second bedroom was not very comfortable and I had a hard time sleeping. Unfortunately it was enough that it will be the only reason I may not consider renting it again. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I am just picky about my bed because I am a light sleeper.
