Where were you born and when/ how did you end up in our area?

Roanoke VA,  I visited the Myrtle beach area almost every summer as a child with my family growing up.  We mostly camped in the Myrtle Beach area.  I always loved beach as a child but never really thought I would make a life here.  My older sister attended CCU ( Back when it was USC Coastal), initially living in the Myrtle beach area and eventually migrated South to Pawleys.  After my first year of College in NC, I was lucky to move to the Beach sharing an apartment with my sister and friends and by the end of that first Summer, I was calling the beaches of South Carolina “Home”.  Upon returning here after college I came back to the Pawleys Island area where eventually married and raised my two daughters.  I have moved away a couple times since, but have always come back and consider this my “Happy Place”

One thing about you that others might find interesting?
