Hurricane Dorian Update

Hurricane Dorian Statement, Saturday, 8/31/19 10am
All eyes are closely monitoring Hurricane Dorian. We are praying for Pawleys Island to have minimal impact, but starting to look at other scenarios. Our office is open for normal business hours Saturday (today), Monday (Labor Day) and through the week. Updates will be passed along as more information is known regarding the storm. Here is a quote from local weather expert Ed Piotroski:
"Over the past 24 hours, the odds of Dorian having a direct impact on our area have increased. High pressure is expected to break down early next week and leave Dorian in weak steering currents. That makes it very difficult to determine when and where the turn north will occur. Quite frankly, 50-100 miles one way or the other will make a huge difference in what impacts we could get. I simply can't tell you 5-6 days from now exactly where Dorian will track therefore I can't tell you precisely who could get what. I hope things become clearer by late this weekend. I am confident that any impacts here would most likely be Thursday and/or Friday."
